The AO1 Foundation announces that for the 3rd year in a row, Carson Wentz, starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, and some of his teammates will play in the annual AO1 Foundation Charity Softball Game and home run derby. The event will be held Friday, May 8, 2020, at Citizens Bank Park. Tickets will go on sale in December 2019.

Event proceeds will benefit the Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation, which works to “Uplift individuals and communities around the world by demonstrating God’s love for His people ” through three ministries: Thy Kingdom Crumb, the Outdoor Ministry and the Haiti Sports Complex.

“I’ve been blessed with a platform that I can use to give back,” said Wentz. “We are all uniquely gifted to serve and can accomplish more together than alone. Thanks to the foundation’s supporters, fans who have attended the games and those who volunteer, we can make an even bigger impact to help people in the United States and Haiti.”

Nearly 40,000 people attended the Charity Softball Games in 2017 and 2018, which collectively raised $1.4 million to benefit the foundation.

The second annual AO1 Foundation Charity Softball Game in Fargo, North Dakota will be held Friday, June 26, 2020, at Newman Outdoor Field. Tickets will go on sale in May 2020.
